Our pottery wheel instructor will guide you step-by-step through creating a basic bowl/vessel. Lessons are just two people at a time, so you get VERY hands-on help during your hour lesson.
On the 2nd Saturday of each month, drop the kids off for a little bit of artistic fun and socializing. We'll complete one art project, eat a sack lunch (brought from home), and play games.
This month, we'll create a winter tree scene, complete with white splatter paint for snow!
Please register as early as possible for these events so that we can make sure to have enough materials for each participant. We reserve the right to change/adjust projects if we have last-minute sign ups.

This clay is NOT fragile like kiln-fired clay, making it perfect for everyday wear. Grab some friends and come make some pairs of earrings.
Our instructor will be bringing a variety of shapes and sizes so you can choose something that fits your style!

Each month, we will host a FREE Skill Share workshop highlighting creativity, technology, tools, design, and more. These workshops will be led by local leaders, artists, designers and specialists willing to donate their time and talent to the local community.

We will provide you with an 8x10 picture frame, paint, mosaic tiles and pebbles to create your scene before you use resin and dyes to enhance and seal the project. (You can also create any other image!)

Kiddos will learn all about ceramics, glaze, kilns, how to properly apply glaze with a brush; fine motor skills with detail work; and more! We will paint for an hour before taking a tour of the kiln room to see what will happen after they leave their ceramic piece to the studio assistants!
Kids learn through play, so each week we'll enjoy process art, where the kids create art by playing with various mediums instead of trying to replicate a certain project. Parents and caregivers can relax and play with them, knowing we'll clean up the mess! :)

Learn the basics of wet-on-wet oil paint technique with Jessica!
Workshop includes:
- 3 hours of instruction
- NEW SIZE! 12x24 canvas

Even if you're a beginner, this class is for you! It is slightly longer than our acrylic painting classes, but isn't really any "harder." Once you know how oil paint acts and reacts and how to make it do what you want, you will be painting beautiful landscapes!

About this class:
Students will learn clay hand building/sculpting techniques such as pinch pots, coils and slabs and use these methods to create an animal/creature out of clay.
Students will learn about clay, glazes, and take a kiln room tour during this first visit.
The animal creations will be fired in the kiln and the group will return to glaze these items (this is included in the ticket price)
On the second visit, students will be reminded about clay and glaze, and how to properly apply glaze with a brush.
One more firing and then the pieces will be ready to take home to display.
Each session should take roughly 1.5 hours.
Perfect for the teen that enjoys art, we will explore various mediums (we will discuss what they're most interested in at the first lesson) and allow them to express their creativity while receiving experienced advice regarding the materials and tools being used.
PSSST - I plan to approach this class a little differently than I ever have in the past - on the first class I plan to give a studio tour and explain all the tools/spaces/processes within the studio. Then we will have "art challenges" for the kids to select from, and they will work at their own pace, allowing me to roam around and offer advice and help when needed. This way the kids are focusing on the types of art they enjoy, while stretching their skills and learning new ones.
All materials are included in the lesson fees.

This ticket covers not one but TWO date nights!
Spend Valentine's weekend creating a keepsake that will last forever and then return after it's been bisque fired to choose your glazes and paint it.
Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through cutting out your clay handprints and heart and assembling them into a heart/bowl shape during this first event. Once you've received a text that it's been fired, you can return at your convenience during any of our drop-in hours to choose your colors and glaze it. It's really simple, so you can relax and have fun with your significant other.
Don't forget that we now serve beer & wine, so you can sip while you sculpt and paint!
