About this class:

• Students will learn clay hand building/sculpting techniques such as pinch pots, coils and slabs and use these methods to create an animal/creature out of clay.
• Students will learn about clay, glazes, and take a kiln room tour during this first visit.
• The animal creations will be fired in the kiln and the group will return to glaze these items (this is included in the ticket price)
• On the second visit, students will be reminded about clay and glaze, and how to properly apply glaze with a brush.
• One more firing and then the pieces will be ready to take home to display.
• Each session should take roughly 1.5 hours.
